About Alex | White Mountain Carving Company

For Alex, wood is more than a material—it’s a living medium that holds stories, history, and transformation. An artist at heart, he has worked with many materials over the years, but he is always drawn back to the organic warmth and timeless presence of wood.
In 2023, Alex survived a devastating car accident—an experience that reshaped his perspective and deepened his artistic purpose. Emerging from that moment, he knew his path was clear: to dedicate himself fully to sculpting, creating work that is not only visually striking but deeply connected to nature, resilience, and renewal.
Through White Mountain Carving Company, Alex crafts one-of-a-kind sculptures and monumental installations that seamlessly integrate with architectural spaces, landscapes, and private collections. Whether shaping a towering installation or an intimate carving, his work reflects a mastery of form, texture, and the raw beauty of wood itself.

Honoring Spaces, Preserving Legacies
Some of Alex’s most meaningful work is dedicated to honoring those who have passed and memorializing spaces of deep personal significance. With an intuitive approach, he creates sculptures that embody memory, presence, and transformation—offering a timeless tribute through the art of wood. Whether it’s a private commission to honor a loved one or an installation that preserves the essence of a place, Alex approaches each piece with reverence and artistry, crafting works that hold both spirit and story.
